***CREATURE BREAK***

Okay, let's see if I can refrain from posting about beasts for five seconds. GO!

I need some help, Voxters. I don't like to blog about blogging, because I'm always afraid it will rip a hole in our solar system or something, But I need to know, how do I do that neat thing where I turn a word into a link?

For example, if I said, "Hey, everyone! Look at Jamie's blog!! Here it is, HER blog. Jamie rocks. Jamie Jamie Jamie." Like that. Except the colored words would be links.

And please, no html code! If it's not simple, I can't do it. That's one of the many reasons I abandoned Eblogger, because everyone's like, "oh, it's easy! Just use this html code! It's simple!" Yeah, right. Never again. Oh that's right, I forgot, my one of my muses Martha Beck has forbidden me from using the word "can't". Instead I'm supposed to use the word "won't" or "choose not to". Okay, empowerment people. I choose not to use html code.Martha Beck wrote a book called "Finding Your Own North Star", a beautiful and awesome book, I credit the book for helping me finally choose the wildlife profession. No small deal. Oops. I mentioned wildlife. Sorry.

did you get settled with the linking thing yet? It was tricky for me too at first, but it's pretty easy once you do it a couple of times (heh -like most things...) but I'm still nervous about how/if it works, so I always go back and test mine. They're almost always fine. Vox makes it fairly simple. :-)

Thank you! I try to strike a decent balance between my science side and my geek side LOL. I'm really amazed by the level of tech skills some of these bloggers have. And the photography, as on your site. Very nice. :)

Wow, Maya, thanks. I came to PM you and found this. I hope you learned how to link. If you want to link a person in your neighborhood you can also highlight the name and click the little picture of people at the top of the compose page. It gives you a list of people in your hood in alphabetical order, just scroll down, click who you want and that's it!

Ok..Off to do that PM now.
