TEA AND A VALENTINE'S LOVE POTION

Excellent and those who may be a wee bit afraid of starting with their own herbs or what-have-you, I received a sampler box of "cold teas" from a friend at Yule.

Yes -- but did the love potion work?

PS Congrats on the thesis, inquiring minds want to know!

Oh yeah, Yogi teas!! I used to drink those. They're strong and really tasty. It reminds me of real OTC medicine but much nicer to drink. I especially like the cold and flu stuff. Don't you love samplers? ;) It's a nice Yule gift.

It's such a crazy story. All I can say is that his name was Peter, he was like a spooky underworld god. It worked in some ways, not in others. A witch gave me a magic stone and the recipe, and I think the Universe worked the way it was supposed to. Sorry to be vague.

And thanks, I'm working on the post, it has to be extra special!! ;)

Congratulations on finding your thesis!

I'm overwhelmed with love and bliss.

This makes me happy. :)

I'm glad you figured out your thesis!

I might try your cough tea. Everybody in the house has this dry cough..well, except for Dewitte, he's got congestive heart failure. I wouldn't worry too much about that though, last week he had endometriosis.

Aw Merci mon ami. (no vowels before other vowels in French, right? Geez j'oublis mon Francais!)

I hope you like my idea. ;)

;) Just what we need, right? We'd need a whole new line of obgyns!

I hope the remedy works, let me know! The remedy may have called for Siberian ginseng. Just be careful, any ginseng can be like taking crack. It makes me really racy. (And I don't mean tube skirt racy.) ;)

Hemlock and foxglove work too, I'm told. (Just kidding.)
LOL yeah, who worries about a cough when their heart is having massive palpitations? Not me! ;)

So your thesis is going to be rel to efficacy of vairous herbs in delusions of amorous linkages -- hah! Just kidding. I'm so happy you have a thesis settled. Hooray!! Can't wait to get the scoop on it!
And those mixtures sound fascinating. Coughs can be do very tiring!!

Hi Maya,

When I was a child my mother would make for us when we had a cough and cold. ! fresh lemon squeezed into a cup and added one clove of crushed garlic and a tablespoon of honey. She gave us a 1 tea spoon to a 1 table spoon full as needed. It Worked....

Garlic inhibits cough and cold microbes and is an effective decongestant. Honey are considered by many to be a respiratory tonic, improving breathing, and is also known to be antimicrobial, assisting the immune system with fighting infection. Lemon reduces and thins mucus and alters the body's pH, which may make it less hospitable to viruses and bacteria.

I sure hope we can all stay well, and if not, with your tea and my syrup maybe we can get through.

Have a wonderful Night Maya and friends...

Holly

Hmmmm....that's an interesting idea. Wanna join me in classes?? We can make a michevious brew....Ah hahahahaha!!! ;)
Hi Holly! My Aryuvedic friend drinks warmed lemon water every morning. I love lemon. Great info on honey, I already take it raw for my allergies but I didn't know about the antimicrobial properties! Nice!! ;)
LOL -- I would LOVE to go back to school!!!!!!!!!!
But...$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and of course, Sweetie!
