QotD: [this is home]

That's a beautiful house. The reason I don't like homes on the beach is all that sand you'd have to clean up. I already feel that we bring half of the beach home with us whenever we go, I can't imaging living with it all the time.

Divine! Love the bright of it and the ocean being near. And the cat accommodations! Yes- a must. :-)
Dark wood- YAY! I love dark would and white walls- the contrast is so neat.I hope you find EXACTLY what you're looking for soon and that you can get it fast!

And then take lots of pix, so we can see!!

sweeeet! So nice a pic to see on a cool, rainy NE day!
LOL I hadn't thought of that. But we worry about flooding / tsunamis anyway so we would probably avoid living right on a beach.
;) Aw, thank you! Yeah it's dark and cold today so we're highly motivated. I want sunlight!! Natural Home magazine is now Natural Home and Garden so I'll have to see if they still have great photos.

Hi Jaypo! Brrrrrrr! I'M COLD!!! Are we really in August?? I hate to complain while our poor neighbors to the south are suffocating in the deadly heat, but I'm so depressed. It's pitch dark and I had to go to the attic for warm clothing. Geez.

I'll go to your blog, though. It always cheers me up!! (Ditto Jamie and RD)

What do you know. I too was a fish or possibly a dolphin in a former life. I'm completely serious. I wish I could swim every day. Someday I will.
You have the most excellent taste in both a home and it's decor.
I wish you much luck in finding your dream home. :)

Aw, thank you. We looked in Rye NH and guess what, homes are just 2.5 million there. Very affordable! LOL

Well good to meet a fellow sea being. Isn't it so amazing being in the water? Ah, it just can't be explained (to a mere land mortal, LOL)
